Today's feature is an all aluminum radiator for a 1974 Plymouth Duster.

Our customer came to us looking for a radiator solution.  Having no listing for this vehicle, we suggested using our all aluminum 3 row 1970-1973 Duster solution.

What we found is that the radiator fit just fine with minor modifications.

We'd like to thanks Chris for sharing his experience and pictures.  See his details on how to install into the 1974 Duster below.

Installation for:

1974 Plymouth Duster - It has Air Conditioning
225 Slant six 3.7L

  1. We had to drill Some new holes on the side plate on the top ONLY.
  2. The bottom holes lined up but not the top holes.
  3. We using a nut & bolt with a lock washer to secure it to the frame on the top holes.
  4. Other than that the Radiator hoses we needed to find two different ones.
"We really had to cut the hell out of the Plastic FAN Guard below as the
Air conditioning Pulley was in the way so had NO choice but to hack saw
the Plastic Piece. But the Key is to keep the mounting pieces in tact on
both sides but just cut the center out so that the pulley will not hit.
With the fan guard mounting pieces on the bottom still intact below you can still secure the fan guard to the car." - Chris
