Acura Radiator

You've kept your automotive vehicle maintained, you've never had any accidents, you drive safely, so why did your Acura radiator just fail? First, it is not your fault. Your Acura radiator failure is a direct indication that your car was in need of stopping. To understand this failure, we'll first look at what makes up the cooling system. Plainly, this system is what keeps your vehicle from melting down. Your Acura radiator is one of the major components of this system. Made up of flattened tubes with fins, the Acura radiator assists in transferring heat from the fluid passing into the radiator from the engine into an air stream which is then carried away from the vehicle. The Acura radiator is an efficient cooling device. However, since most of its components are often bonded with solder, they can weather and corrode over time. Today's Acura emissions standards require vehicles to run at even higher temperatures which places a lot of stress on your Acura radiator. It may be a heat wave that has caused the Acura radiator failure. It may have been wear and tear, or even just age that has landed you in the repair shop scratching your head. When you see CORE SIZE: ## x ## and or (##"x##") on Radiator Express ® listings, we are referring to the core size of the radiator, condenser, heater core, etc. The core size can be determined by measuring your product from the inside of one tank to the beginning inside of the opposite tank, also excluding any metal or plastic bracketing material. The core is the area that contains the tubes and fins. Certain applications of radiator will have different core sizes, and it is imperative that you check them prior to purchasing from Radiator Express ®. We are not responsible for the return of your radiator should you purchase an incorrect size, or if you purchase a part without first checking the various sizes listed in our catalog.
