Radiator for the Honda CRX HF model

1988-1991 HONDA CIVIC AND CRX MODELS:

All use the same aftermarket part number for the radiator (886), This radiator has a 26" core size. Most manufacturing companies have a note on this part that explains the item will also fit the 23" core. This 23" was standard in most CRX HF models of hondas.

What people don't understand is that sometimes, you need to make adjustments to get these radiators to fit the smaller hard to locate 23" style. We've included in this post a general description to the changes that one would make:

The radiator from the 1991 CRX SI and DX models (26 inch core) can fit the CRX HF (23 inch core) if you replace the driver side top radiator mounting bracket and cut off one fan shroud mounting tab.
