Since 2000 we've been online dealing directly with the end consumer and have shipped countless items across the world via every shipping method possible. We've learned a lot being in business over 10 years online. I'll admit it hasn't always been easy to miraculously plant a radiator at a customers doorstep the next morning.. We've made that happen and while proud, we're always looking to better our service.

We could not have gotten where we have been without the positive support of our customers, quality work of our staff and exceptional customer service that we provide each and every day.

As a commitment to our service, we will maintain a USA based call center with trained technicians that know the products we sell. They will assist you with your orders and questions toll free. Most important, we've recently syndicated our customer ratings and reviews to a third party service to put our customer service to the test. It is our promise to always be a 5 star service for you, our consumers... We pledge to work our hardest to continue as the automotive aftermarkets #1 in online radiator distribution.

We are less than 3 months in, and our customers have risen to the occasion rating us 9/10 and earning us an Elite Member status w/ ResellerRatings.com (Check out our Rating)

We thank you for your feedback and promise to always be 5 star!

Sincerely,
Nicholas R. Just center the fan shroud and make sure that is lines up with the side brackets and drive the screws.

As to wiring, we suggest a thermal switch kit from the local auto parts store. It has a wire harness, a temp probe and a dial in switch for different temp settings as to when you want the fan to come on as well as a manual over ride to just turn it on at any time. Some guys will wire in to run run the fan at a medium speed all the time and high speed if the temp starts to run up.

Your Radiator Conversion Expert,
DJ

http://www.racewayparts.com/

Medium and Heavy Duty Truck Condensers

Summer is almost here...Radiator Express Network ® has slashed prices on all heavy duty truck condensers featured on our industrial and agriculture distribution website: Radiator Group.com Purchase new condensers for applications such as Freightliner, Mack, Volvo and more. But for the GM conversion we ask that our customers realize there is NO MANUAL! GM is not consistent with their connection setups. You may have a hose going to an expansion valve, heater hose.. or even a low coolant indicator. Buying a conversion radiator on the internet for lets say your Jeep Wrangler with a 1994 Buick Roadmaster engine swap... can leave you with a replacement unit w/ incorrect hose connections and dangling hoses... This can be avoided if you do the research on your end prior to ordering a conversion product and making sure to tell our staff exactly what is on your existing setup and what you need. We are the leader in conversion radiator builds.. we can build you a radiator with any specifications...Most people don't realize that our products are all built in house. Your Audi 5000 radiator failure is a direct indication that your car was in need of stopping. Who would have imagined all the liquid that a car consumes, besides gasoline? Well, other than mechanics and people who find cars fascinating in any way.

In the previous article of this series, we learned about oil and brake fluid. Next on our list of must know maintenance pointers, will be radiator coolant. Your operator handbook or owner's manual will tell you what type of radiator coolant is best for your car.

Radiator Coolant
This fluid is extremely crucial to your car, as it is what prevents the engine from overheating. Allowing the coolant level to get too low can cause severe damage to your cars engine, leading to repeated breakdowns and costly repairs.

Adding coolant to the radiator. If your car is pre-1970, then you will have to add the coolant straight into the radiator. Some of the newer model German and Swedish luxury or sports cars also require the coolant be added directly to the radiator.

1. Park your automobile on a level part of your driveway.
2. Allow your engine to cool down for about a half hour before you proceed.
3. The radiator cap should be located at the front of the engine, near the middle.
4. Be very careful when you remove the radiator cap, touching it when the engine is hot, could result in severe burns.
5. Once you have twisted off the cap (use rags or a thick glove), look into the radiator, and determine if the fluid level is pretty close to the top. If it isn't, then pour in the coolant until you can see the fluid easily.6. Make sure that when you twist the radiator cap back on, you have it screwed on tightly.

Radiator fluid container. Most American and foreign cars that are available today, have a plastic cistern, or container that holds the radiator coolant.
1. The plastic coolant container will most likely be located close to the radiator. In some cars, it is even labeled. There will be a rubber or plastic hose leading from the radiator to the container.
2. Again, ensure that the engine is not hot when you remove the cap. If the fluid level is lower than the "full line," add coolant until it reaches that line.
3. Do not try to remove the cap if the car has overheated, the reservoir holding the coolant could have become pressurized, and cause any remaining fluid to spray out at you when you twist off the cap. Allow the engine to cool sufficiently.
4. If your car overheats because of low coolant, DO NOT put in straight water, as this can cause further damage. Radiator coolant is half anti-freeze and half-purified water. It is a good idea, to keep a bottle of coolant in your trunk, for situations such as this.

Radiator fluid comes in attractive bottles, and has a somewhat sweet taste. Always keep it out of the reach of children. And if it should spill, clean it up immediately because pets, like kids, only understand that it tastes good, not that it is poisonous.

Source: http://www.PopularArticles.com/article150494.html

Product Feature: 2005 2006 JEEP WRANGLER RADIATOR

Rankingreviews.com quotes the jeep wrangler to "lumberjack" of today's vehicles and rates it an overall 7.9 as "unstoppable offroad".

If you own a Jeep Wrangler then you know what they are capable of. Our customers call us daily with requests to match such prices. Unfortunately, they are completely bogus. No legitimate company sells brand new, warranted parts for less than the cost of the materials to make them. As with all transactions completed online, it is important to make sure the site you are dealing with is reputable!
'Bait' pricing is a tactic commonly used by foreign manufacturers with low advertising budgets to get your 'clicks' and convince you to invest your time into their web site until you've either bought the part without noticing hidden fees, or you've gone too far and spent too much time to reverse your decision to buy. They 'bait' you into filling out billing and shipping information slowly across several inconvenient checkout screens along with surveys, forms and checkbooks galore until you finally reach your 'subtotal' screen.
For example, by the time you reach your billing information screen, 'bait' pricing sites may have quietly added any combination of seemingly random fees to your total: a $25 'five to seven day' delivery fee, a $20 'online ordering fee,' $15 for 'taxes,' and $5 for 'handling'. Before you know it, you've exceeded our lowest priced part by quite a bit! Our competition simply hopes you don't notice! Or, they hope that you just roll your eyes and continue to check out, since you have made it to the last step and have already spent all morning filling out their order information without reading the fine print. You've been had!
Were you looking for next-day delivery? We offer FAST one business day delivery in almost every state for stock replacements! * Our competitors that use 'bait' pricing charge up to $55 for 1-2 day delivery on basic stock replacements.
Our OEM-quality replacement pricing is simple and straightforward - barring any availability issues, you pay our online price plus a flat rate for freight, tax and handling combined. You know what you're paying with Radiator Express ®.

What if my original radiator cap doesn't work?

Stock plastic aluminum models of radiators normally will use the same cap style as the dealer original. Sometimes with certain foreign applications, the aftermarket radiator may use a different cap than stock. If you receive a part, and the cap does not fit, you can either visit your local parts store with the radiator. You can measure the radiator cap connection diameter and fit a cap based on their size. You can also contact us via a support ticket and we will respond with a cap number that will be stocked at your local parts store. Most of the parts we sell that may require a different cap will come with this information on the e-mailed invoice.

"Radiator Expert Tip" - Don't panic if the cap doesn't fit. For a stock replacement visit www.RadiatorExpress.com
Radiator cracks are a common occurrence and many things cause them - overheating, stress, vibration, pressure. None of which have anything to do with the actual "radiator" unit. If you have a reoccurring problem with cracks - then have your vehicle diagnosed for other issues. First, it is not your fault. Your Acura radiator failure is a direct indication that your car was in need of stopping. To understand this failure, we'll first look at what makes up the cooling system. Plainly, this system is what keeps your vehicle from melting down. Your Acura radiator is one of the major components of this system. Made up of flattened tubes with fins, the Acura radiator assists in transferring heat from the fluid passing into the radiator from the engine into an air stream which is then carried away from the vehicle. The Acura radiator is an efficient cooling device. However, since most of its components are often bonded with solder, they can weather and corrode over time. Today's Acura emissions standards require vehicles to run at even higher temperatures which places a lot of stress on your Acura radiator. It may be a heat wave that has caused the Acura radiator failure. It may have been wear and tear, or even just age that has landed you in the repair shop scratching your head. Luckily, Radiator Express makes your Acura radiator purchasing experience easy with delivery and pickup from over 100 nationwide locations. Whether your a do-it-yourselfer or just don't want to pay the inflated price from your local garage, we'll be sure to deliver to you a new radiator, priced right and sealed in the manufacturer's packing. Don't be upset your radiator failed; get it fixed the first time with Radiator Express.

Like us on Facebook and Receive a Discount

We appreciate all the support we currently receive from our customers. The extra nipples (TOC, the transmission cooler, or EOC, engine oil cooler) do not need to be capped off and you have in fact received the correct part. It's a closed system - a single bar travels from one connection to the other for each system without interacting with the tube-and-fin area of the radiator. I know, I know… you are imagining the waterfall of coolant all over the place that looks like it will inevitably result from filling the radiator, and you don't believe me. Just cover one of the connections and blow air through the other.. You'll see its just a little pipe. The transmission or engine coolant is cooled through the metal of this pipe - it never interacts with the radiator. For this reason, manufacturer's make the automatic version of a radiator and no manual versions... keeps us from making any mistakes!

Pontiac Bonneville Radiator Installation

Here is a cool post from one of our customers from pontiacbonnevilleclub.com

Arrived home to find a box on my doorstep from RadiatorExpress.com

Says to self: "Self, I still have about two hours of daylight left, I can change this right now..."

So, at 5:45pm I run the car up on the ramps and pop the box on the new radiator

Ok, pop the hood and speed-cool the radiator with a garden hose (don't feel like scalding myself tonight)

Grab an 8mm wrench and drop the battery cable, take a 10mm socket and remove the six bolts holding the radiator cover on and the fan. You will find pertinent information about all our radiator, heater core, condenser, and gas tank applications. Most of our listings will mention if the given application fits automatic and or manual. Very few aftermarket replacements are transmission specific. Only for certain racing or older vehicle applications will you commonly see A/T or M/T specific replacements offered. You do not need to make modifications to your vehicle or the unit itself to use a multi-fit construction. Wait! Don't close that browser window just yet. This is the case with virtually everything you already own, including the clothing you have on right now and the computer on which you are reading this information. We do not guarantee any specific countries of origin, but we warranty all of our stock replacements the same, no matter where they come from. We only manufacturer items in our owned facilities overseas and only do business with manufacturer's that can assure quality control in their manufacturing warehouses. Most items on our site will indicate built to OEM specifications, that means tested to the dealer standard. In many cases we sell our parts to the dealership when they run out of their products which are also made overseas. If someone claims to sell you a part "Made in America", they are most likely referring to Central America or South America. What we deliver is an honest service, no strings, no faking. Its our business to ensure you purchase the correct radiator, the first time, and that it lasts... We even sell original equipment parts for many foreign applications. Our products are hand tested and come from American based companies that you can depend on. We make this distinction because the quality of part that you install is a very important issue. To view more about the products we ship please visit our Radiator Express ® About Quality page. We do not generally list part numbers on the website, or specific brands due to confusion and potential mis-orders often result by ordering via part number. Most radiators you receive from our service will be sent from a local facility. They will normally have the Radiator Express ® logo on the box. Sometimes we will ship an affiliate brand to ensure an item is not delayed. If you require a specific brand name, be sure to contact us via phone to order.
"Radiator Expert Tip" - Let's Be Serious !!! If a price is too good to be true.. Trust us it is. . The competitor will most likely end the sale with surcharges, extraordinary shipment fees, or send you a no-name product that they obtained from an overseas warehousing with a lackluster warranty even though the overseas call center assured you it was XYZ brand. They may even tell you its a "very complicated fit" to get you confused, worried and overpaying for the part. The prices on our website may not always be the lowest you'll find... But we can assure you, the item is to OEM specifications, we created and added it to the website by hand. We added notes to the descriptions and made distinctions to the listing so that you know if you need to check the core size, or product date of the vehicle etc. (no autoparts cookie cutter catalogues..here...)

When will I receive my order?

All stock replacement orders placed before 2:30 PM local time ship same-day from the closest Radiator Express ® shipment location with available stock. Tube-to header joints are weakened and corrosion can restrict coolant flow.

Internal Deposits - Rust and leak inhibitors can form solids that collect in the cooling system and restrict flow.

Fin Deterioration - A chemical deterioration of the fins most often caused by road salt or sea water.

Fin Bond Failure - A loss of solder bond between fins and tubes. Fins are loose in core. This causes loss of heat transfer and reduces the strength of the radiator.

Tube - to - Header Leaks - Failure of the solder joint results in coolant loss.

Leaky Tank - to - Header Seam - Failure of the solder joint or cracked headers is generally the result of pressure cycle fatigue.

Blown Tank - to - Header Seam - Usually an indication that the radiator has seen extreme pressures resulting from an exhaust gas leak into the cooling system

Loose Side Piece - Can lead to flexing of the core and radiator tube failure.

Leaky Oil Cooler Fitting - Caused by failure of the solder joint between the radiator tank and oil cooler.

Leaky Inlet / Outlet Fitting - Leaks in this area of the radiator can be caused by fatigue or by corrosion of the solder joint.

Fan Damage - Minor collisions or a failed water pump can result in damage to the radiator.

Over Pressurization - Excessive pressure in the radiator caused by a defective pressure cap or engine exhaust gas leak can destroy the radiator.

Electrolysis - Stray electrical current can cause excessive corrosion of metal components.

Cracked Plastic Tanks - High stress in the radiator can cause premature failure of the plastic tanks.

Steam Erosion - Steam can breakdown the plastic tank which will produce thinning and ultimately holes in the plastic tank.
